Friends have donated $6,500 dollars for new books for the new library this year. The reponse to the new books has been tremendous.
The Appleton has donated many fine art books to the Book Nook. Thank you Appleton for your donation.

Newsletter September 2009
June 6, 2009 - Friends sponsored a mini horse show for the children in the community room of the library to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the new Location. Refreshments were served and local historian Gene Scroggie gave a presentation on the history of Belleview.
Upcoming Events
Upcoming Book Sale. Come one come all for some fabulous baragins.
Friends Christmas Party will be held at the Book Nook (old library bldg) at 6:00 pm. Ray Cooper, a one man show from Broadway back to Vaudeville will entertain before dinner. Ray has performed all over the world and is currently involved with the Ocala Civic Theatre. It will be a great party and all members are invited, contact Friends of Belleview library for more information. Ray Coopers website:
Connie Mann, local author will speak about her new book "Trapped", a Florida mystery. The event sponsored by the Friends, will be held in the community room at the new library. Connie will be signing books for everyone wishing to purchase one.
